Salary Range: $27.69 - $35.33 Hourly Annual salary is equivalent to $60,453 - $77,160 based on 84-hour pay period. This position is eligible for the City’s $35,000 hiring bonus program with an expected 3-year commitment to the City of Madera. For more details, please visit our website. Primary Responsibilities The Public Safety Dispatcher II is the journey level class in the Public Safety Dispatcher class series. Public Safety Dispatchers are expected to perform the full range and scope of dispatching duties including maintaining field communications with public safety personnel with minimal guidance and supervision. Work shifts rotate and mandatory overtime may be required. Due to shift scheduling, Dispatchers work 84 hours per pay period, with 8 of those hours at time and one half (76 hours straight time + 8 hours time and 1/2).
