Requirements / Qualifications 1. High School diploma or the equivalent and; 2. 48 college units 3. A.A. degree or higher 4. Pass a local assessment of knowledge (Paraprofessional Exam) ***You MUST have one of the following documents attached to your application or you will not be interviewed***: • Copy of Transcript (Unofficial is acceptable) or Passing results of Paraprofessional Exam • Proof of High School graduation or equivalent • Resume • Letter(s) of recommendation (Minimum of 2 Letters) If you do not meet the minimum qualifications but would like to take a paraeducator exam, you can register for our paraeducator test here: https://www.yubacoe.org/departments/human-resources/paraeducator-proficiency-assessment All applicants must complete an online application through EDJOIN at www.edjoin.org and required documents must be attached to the EDJOIN application (do not email, mail, or fax).
