Certificated Substitute Teacher Pool (All Sites) - $225+ Daily Rate - Burlingame School District (2026-2027)

Requirements / Qualifications Current California Credential or willing to apply for substitute teaching permit (must have at least a bachelor's degree to apply for the 30 sub permit) TB clearance Livescan Background clearance (upon hire) Transcripts (official transcripts upon hire) Selected applicants will be processed through the DOJ, FBI, and NASDTEC. NASDTEC is a clearinghouse that checks credential status in all 50 states. Letters of reference are highly desirable but not required. Comments and Other Information Burlingame School District is recruiting substitutes to our substitute teaching pool. Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree and love working with children? We would love to have you consider joining our Substitute Teacher Team. We permit our substitutes to work as little or as much as they want with no limit to the number of hours per month. Substitutes interested in working middle school, the Spanish Immersion Elementary program and special education assignments highly desirable. No restrictions on working for more than one district.
