Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications: * High School Diploma or the equivalent; and * 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; or 2-3 years experience in a school setting working with children * Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Tutoring experience a plus, and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students in preferred. *A completed EDJOIN online application is required. The aide will work with a student in instructional practices, curriculum, outside activities, physical education, electives, and recess.
