On-Call Substitute Teacher

Requirements / Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A valid teaching credential through the Commission on Teacher credentialing, an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit. Must have a B.A., B.S. Degree and a valid Driver’s License and insurance. Fundamental Responsibilities: Provide instruction to at-risk students. Teach content and skills in the assigned subject matter. Develop and implement lesson plans for multi-subject and/or single subject curriculum. To improve academic skills and to provide career and vocational awareness/education. Instruct students in citizenship, and basic communication skills. This position needs to work effectively with multi-cultural/diverse groups, and have the ability to establish a positive relationship with students, possess knowledge of concepts in computers in an instructional environment. Must be able to work with cooperative group methods. Current TB Test within the last 90 days, OR you will have to retest before employment. Fingerprints are required through Fresno Live Scan, Agape will cover the cost of the fingerprinting. Other fingerprint results from another agency / district will NOT accepted. Please note that the costs for both the TB test and the Live Scan fingerprinting are the responsibility of the employee.
