Requirements / Qualifications Complete Online EDJOIN application. Professional References must be from an evaluating supervisors, manager, or equivalent. Must be a current MVUSD employee or classified substitute to apply for this short term assignment. If you are not in the current classification, you must submit transcripts showing successful completion of fifteen (15) or more early childhood education units including nine (9) core units, and three (3) units in curriculum (can include school age curriculum). Training and Experience 1. Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. 2. Successful completion of fifteen (15) or more early childhood education units including nine (9) core units, and three (3) units in curriculum (can include school age curriculum). 3. Two (2) years of paid experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting or any combination of training experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities may be considered. 4. Must obtain and maintain Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or above within six (6) months of hire. 5. One (1) or more years’ experience in clerical work desired. 6. Good work history and attendance. 7. Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
