Requirements / Qualifications In order to be considered, applicants must submit the following by the final filing date: Completed Ed-Join Application Cover Letter Resume Current Letters of Recommendation Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of institutional quantity food preparation, methods, procedure and service, weights and measures, kitchen safety and sanitation. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, two years of experience in quantity food preparation, with at least one year of cooking or baking in an institutional setting. Supplemental courses or formal training in nutrition, sanitation, and menu planning are recommended. Additional experience may substitute for education. Valid Driver’s license is required. Comments and Other Information The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $10,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $13,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
