Requirements / Qualifications Requirements / Qualifications To be considered for the position, the following must be submitted with your Edjoin application: • Copy of Multiple Subject Credential and or eligibility for the California Intern program credential upon hire date • Resume • Cover Letter • Two (2) letters of recommendation dated within one (1) year Position Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university • Valid California Teaching Credential in Multiple Subject area required • CLAD/ BCLAD/English Learner (EL) Certification OR the commitment to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire date required • Knowledge of evidence-based reading and writing instruction. • Ability to analyze student data and provide differentiated instruction. • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Preferred: • Reading Specialist/Literacy credential or advanced degree in literacy, education, or related field. • Experience with MTSS/RTI and Tier 2/Tier 3 interventions. • Training in Science of Reading, structured literacy, LETRS, Orton-Gillingham, or similar evidence-based approaches. • Experience supporting multilingual learners and students with diverse learning needs.
