Elementary School Substitute Teacher for 2026/2027 school year (Closes 11/13/2026)

Requirements / Qualifications Applicants who are eligible for a 30-Day Substitute Permit are encouraged to apply (Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College is required). Official transcripts will be requested upon hiring. Individuals may meet the requirement by providing official transcripts that show passage of courses resulting in a Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. Courses must be taken for credit, be degree applicable, and be at least 3 semester units (or equivalent quarter units). Qualifying coursework does not include professional development or continuing education units or in-service training or workshops. CA Basic Skills Documentation: Passage of CBEST, CSET, SAT, ACT, or college coursework is no longer required to obtain a 30-day Emergency permit. • Certificate Copy (30 Day Substitute Permit or CA Credential) • Copy of Transcript (Unofficial copy acceptable for application) • Letter of Introduction • Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Letters of Recommendation dated within the last 12 months) • Resume Comments and Other Information Applications will not be considered if Required Documents are missing.
