Requirements / Qualifications Candidates who submit proof of one of the following: - Transcripts displaying completion of 48 or more college units, or - Proof of passing CBEST, or - Valid CA teaching credential Will not need to take the written exam. If you do not have any of the above mentioned items and have not previously passed the District's Competency test you will have to take the written exam. A study guide is available for this written exam only and can be obtained by emailing AHoff@chicousd.org.
