Maintenance Specialist

Requirements / Qualifications Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience in one or more of the repair, maintenance and construction fields such as electrical, plumbing, locksmithing and carpentry. Valid California driver’s license, evidence of appropriate automobile insurance based on DMV regulations and insurable by the District liability insurance carrier. Must pass District test Maintenance Specialist - Basic Functions: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair and construction of school facilities, machines and equipment; perform skilled or semi-skilled duties in one or more of the building and maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, locksmithing and carpentry.
