Requirements / Qualifications Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, and one of the following: 1) completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units); or 2) obtained an associate degree (or higher); or 3) take the Etiwanda School District Paraprofessional Exam, a rigorous local academic assessment test. (This would be offered to all qualified candidates in lieu of 1, 2 and 4). 4) Chaffey Adult School Paraprofessional certificate accepted. •All sections of the application must be FULLY completed even if a resume is submitted. Employees may work one-on-one with learning disabled students assisting them with appropriate conduct and learning experiences as assigned by the teacher. This position could also require the instructional aide to help in meeting the health and hygiene needs of students. Employees may be exposed to childhood diseases, adverse climatic conditions and anti-social behavior. Upon offer of employment, individuals will need to complete an application for a criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice. Authorization to employ cannot be granted according to state law until the criminal background clearance from DOJ/FBI has been received. *Cost of fingerprinting will be the responsibility of the appointee.
