Summary
The Management and Program Analyst position is located within Flight Standards Service, Office of Foundational Business (AFB), Mission Services Division (AFB-100), Administrative Services Branch (AFB-110). The Analyst will be responsible for coordinating, organizing data and information, providing advice, guidance, and support to management and staff for the improvement, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Flight Standards programs
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position: Specialized experience includes experience with OneNote and E2; experience gathering information for reports, documents, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, or other documents for use by management; experience assisting in the development of general information and content to communicate to leadership. Experience gathering and consolidating information and data to be used for briefings and meetings.
Education
Substitution of Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR LL.M., if related; Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at: http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/SEC-IV/A/gs-admin.asp for more information. To qualify based on education at either grade level, you must submit a copy of your college or university transcript. Failure to do so will result in loss of consideration. Accreditation may be verified at the following website: www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html. Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. educational institution in terms of equivalence to a degree acquired at an American college or university.
