Bilingual Loan Technician (Management Services Technician)

Job Description and Duties This is a repost of the previous JC-531365, if you applied to that JC before, you do not need to reapply. THIS IS A BILINGUAL POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BILINGUAL-SPANISH FLUENCY EXAMINATION. Under supervision of the Housing Finance Officer (Single Family), the Management Services Technician performs a variety of duties related to the servicing of CalHFA subordinate loans and reconveyances to support the operations of the Single Family Loan Administration Unit. Desirable Qualifications: In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: • Fluency in Spanish is required • Experience with customer service • Experience with answering phone calls • Experience preparing documents for internal and external stakeholders • Time Management skills You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement. Special Requirements • The position(s) require(s) fluency in the Spanish language. If the State of California does not have a current record documenting your fluency in this language, you will be required to successfully pass an approved language fluency test prior to being hired. In order to be considered for this job, you must satisfy one of the following requirements: BE LIST ELIGIBLE: Successfully complete the State civil service exam for the Management Services Technician classification OR BE TRANSFER ELIGIBLE: Have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable (employees who wish to be considered based on transfer eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification per DPA Rule 250) OR BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE: Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.
